Buckwheat honey has a dark brown color, pungent taste and flavour with strong molasses and malty tones. This honey is derived from the Buckwheat flowers and contains higher levels of antioxidant compounds, flavonoids, vitamins, mineral and enzymes compared with a lighter colored honey.
